The big-name courses sit within 20–30 minutes of the centre. Assoufid and Amelkis are both widely rated among the country's best, with mature trees, water features and generous but testing fairways; Royal Golf Marrakech is the historic club dating back decades, with a more old-school, tree-lined parkland feel; and the PalmGolf group runs several accessible, well-maintained 18-hole layouts around the palmeraie. Most were designed or redesigned by recognised international architects.
Courses are used to international visitors — pro shops rent full sets of clubs and shoes, buggies are standard, and English-speaking staff and caddies are easy to arrange. Green fees vary a good deal by course, season and time of day, with afternoon and shoulder-season rates noticeably cheaper than a winter morning tee time.
