What is a Moroccan hammam?

Is it awkward being naked in a hammam?
Traditional public hammams are gender-separated and everyone is comfortable with nudity. Tourist-oriented hammams offer private rooms where you can wear disposable underwear if you prefer. Your scrubber has done this thousands of times.
How much does a hammam cost?
A traditional public hammam costs 10-20 MAD. A tourist hammam with private room, premium products and massage runs 300-800 MAD (30-80 EUR). Luxury hotel spas charge 800-2,000 MAD.
Do I need to book yoga in advance?
Drop-in classes are available at several studios. Multi-day retreats should be booked at least 1-2 weeks ahead, especially in peak season.
